Raw Material Quality
The raw material used by Raffmetal in making aluminium alloys come from all over Europe. It is comprised of scrap collected from aluminium processing companies and metal items that have reached the end of their useful life.
On delivery, the aluminium is sorted and classified according to rigorous international standards, using highly sophisticated state-of-the-art equipment.
As an additional safety measure, rigorous tests and inspections are carried out on the incoming metal, throughout the manufacturing process and prior to delivery of the end product in order to ensure that there is no evidence of radioactivity.
